The Royal Order of the Kaharagian Eagle is the second most senior dynastic order of merit in the Principality of Kaharagia, junior only to the Order of Saint. It consists of four classes or grades.
Leadership
The Prince of Kaharagia presides as the Sovereign over the Royal Order of the Kaharagian Eagle. A high-ranking individual from the royal family fills the role of Grand Master, a position which has lain empty since Princess Sheilla relinquished her duties in 2019. According to Article 4 of the Royal Decree 15/2020, which sets out the order’s constitution, all Princes and Princesses of the royal family born to the Monarch automatically become Knights or Dames Grand Cross upon birth.
Insignia
Men honoured with the order’s first-class distinction, Knights Grand Cross, display the order’s badge from a wide ribbon measuring 100mm, draped across the chest, with the badge positioned on the left breast. Women of the same distinction wear it in a similar manner, but the ribbon is narrower. Men in uniform and suits and women donning a uniform who are of the second class wear their badge around the neck and a chest badge. Second-class women, not in uniform, display their insignia from a bow on the upper chest. The third class distinction is worn in a manner identical to the second class, sans the breast star. Individuals of the fourth class wear their insignia from a ribbon draped on the left side of the chest.
